Code § 17A-6C-6","heading":"Refusal of license certificate.","body":"The commissioner shall deny an application if he or she finds that the applicant:\n(a) Has failed to furnish the required bond;\n(b) Has failed to furnish the required certificate of insurance;\n(c) Has knowingly made a false statement of a material fact in the application;\n(d) Has habitually defaulted on financial obligations;\n(e) Has been convicted of a felony within five years immediately preceding receipt of the application by the commissioner;\n(f) Has been refused, or has had revoked, an automobile auction license in any other state or jurisdiction within five years immediately preceding receipt of the application by the commissioner;\n(g) So far as can be ascertained, has not complied with and will not comply with the registration and title laws of this state;\n(h) Has been convicted of any fraudulent act in connection with the business of an automobile auction; or\n(i) Has committed any act or has failed or refused to perform any duty for which the license certificate, if issued, could be suspended or revoked.","path":["CHAPTER 17A.
