Code § 21A-6-4a","heading":"National guard or reserve training not to be considered employment; such individual not unavailable for work; remuneration for training not to be deducted from unemployment compensation benefit.","body":"Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter to the contrary, the following provisions apply to an individual who is a member of the state National Guard or other reserve component of the United States Armed Forces:\n(1) If such individual is otherwise unemployed under the provisions of this chapter, he may not be considered to be employed because he is engaged in inactive duty for training;\n(2) Such individual may not be considered unavailable for work by reason of his inactive duty for training; and\n(3) Remuneration which the individual receives for participating in inactive duty for training may not be deducted from the unemployment compensation benefit to which he is otherwise entitled.","path":["CHAPTER 21A.
