Code § 30-40-14","heading":"Prelicense education.","body":"(a) Applicants for a broker’s license shall provide evidence satisfactory to the commission that he or she has completed at least 180 clock-hours, equivalent to 12 college semester credit hours, in a course or courses approved by the commission: Provided, That an applicant for a broker’s license who holds a salesperson’s license in this state shall be required to provide evidence that he or she has completed an additional 90 clock-hours, equivalent to six college semester hours, in a course or courses approved by the commission.\n(b) Applicants for a salesperson’s license shall provide evidence satisfactory to the commission that he or she has completed 90 clock-hours, equivalent to six college semester credit hours, in a course or courses approved by the commission.\n(c) Any course required by subsection (a) or (b) of this section shall have been completed during the three-year period preceding the date of application in order to be accepted by the commission.","path":["CHAPTER 30.
