Code § 30-8-14","heading":"Prescriptive authority.","body":"(a) A licensee may prescribe: (1) Topical pharmaceutical agents; (2) oral pharmaceutical agents that are included in the drug formulary established by the board pursuant to section six of this article or new drugs or new drug indications added by a decision of the board; and (3) contact lenses that contain and deliver pharmaceutical agents that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a drug.\n(b) An applicant must:\n(1) Submit a completed application;\n(2) Pay the appropriate fee;\n(3) Show proof of current liability insurance coverage;\n(4) Complete the board required training;\n(5) Pass an examination; and\n(6) Complete any other criteria the board may establish by rule.","path":["CHAPTER 30.
