Code § 47-22-7","heading":"Effect on other law.","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), of this section, this article displaces conflicting tort, restitutionary and other law of this state providing civil remedies for misappropriation of a trade secret.\n(b) This article does not affect:\n(1) Contractual remedies, whether or not based upon misappropriation of a trade secret;\n(2) Other civil remedies that are not based upon misappropriation of a trade secret; or\n(3) Criminal remedies, whether or not based upon misappropriation of a trade secret.","path":["CHAPTER 47.
