Code § 5F-1-2","heading":"Executive departments created; offices of secretary created.","body":"(a) There are created, within the executive branch of the state government, the following departments:\n(1) Department of Administration;\n(2) Department of Environmental Protection;\n(3) Department of Health;\n(4) Department of Homeland Security;\n(5) Department of Revenue;\n(6) Department of Transportation;\n(7) Department of Commerce;\n(8) Department of Veterans' Assistance;\n(9) Department of Tourism;\n(10) Department of Human Services; and\n(11) Department of Health Facilities.\n(b) Each department will be headed by a secretary appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate.
