Stat. § 11-37-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) As used in this act:\n(i) \"Beef\" includes veal;\n(ii) \"Beef products\" include veal products;\n(iii) \"Board\" means the Wyoming livestock board;\n(iv) \"Council\" means the Wyoming beef council;\n(v) Repealed By Laws 2009, Ch. 90, § 3.\n(vi) \"Producer\" means any person who owns or acquires ownership of cattle, provided a person shall not be deemed a producer if:\n(A) The person's only share in the proceeds of a sale of cattle or beef is a sales commission, handling fee or other service fee; or\n(B) The person:\n(I) Acquired ownership of cattle to facilitate the transfer of ownership of the cattle from the seller to a third party;\n(II) Resold the cattle no later than ten (10) days from the date on which the person acquired ownership; and\n(III) Certified, as required by the council, that the requirements of this subdivision have been satisfied.\n(vii) \"This act\" means W.S. 11-37-101 through 11-37-110.","path":["TITLE 11 - AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK AND OTHER ANIMALS","CHAPTER 37 - BEEF COUNCIL"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title11.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"862a57dff40d4428bf6c24c83cba3b7a73d5ad9168aace4cc147e3328ed28fca","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-11-37-101","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-11-37-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
