Stat. § 14-4-206","heading":"Parental education and public awareness.","body":"(a) The department shall develop and distribute materials to:\n(i) Promote knowledge of the quality child care system;\n(ii) Promote an understanding of the benefits that accrue to children, families and communities from quality child care programs, as based upon the latest findings in research reports and studies;\n(iii) Promote the advantages of parents personally providing care for their own children whenever possible;\n(iv) Promote parent involvement in their child's development and provide information and activities to parents or caretakers to promote early childhood learning and development at home;\n(v) Emphasize the importance of parental responsibility and the involvement of the family in quality early childhood development; and\n(vi) Inform parents about choices available in childcare programs and how to choose an appropriate child caring facility.","path":["TITLE 14 - CHILDREN","CHAPTER 4 - CHILD CARE FACILITIES","ARTICLE 2 - QUALITY CHILD CARE"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title14.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"ae3e41e763255339f59ab1782ab9de4b3ea112661a15268fd8c84a94d9c2c809","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-14-4-205","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-14-4-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
