Stat. § 15-7-207","heading":"Election procedure; notice.","body":"If the governing body of the city or town decides to submit the question of the sale of the property to a vote of the qualified electors, they shall publish, for a period of at least three (3) weeks before the election in a newspaper of general circulation in the city or town, a notice specifying the amount of the bid and the general terms and conditions contained in the proposal.
