Stat. § 16-1-304","heading":"Environmental review process.","body":"(a) The department shall conduct and make available to the office of state lands and investments a review of potential environmental impacts of projects receiving assistance from the account. The environmental review process shall:\n(i) Contain mechanisms requiring implementation of mitigation measures to ensure the project is environmentally sound;\n(ii) Allow the public an opportunity to challenge environmental review determinations and enforcement actions;\n(iii) Employ an interdisciplinary approach to identify and mitigate adverse environmental effects including all pertinent state and federal authorities;\n(iv) Include documentation of information, processes and premises that influence decisions;\n(v) Require public notice and participation;\n(vi) Include evaluation criteria and a process allowing consideration of alternative decisions; and\n(vii) Comply with the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act.","path":["TITLE 16 - CITY, COUNTY, STATE AND LOCAL POWERS","CHAPTER 1 - INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION","ARTICLE 3 - STATE DRINKING WATER REVOLVING ACCOUNT"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title16.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"973e53d3cbb50eae69d148ca6d6fbde3e32d87bc97fc3f667e1634129ca34883","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-16-1-303","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-16-1-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
