Stat. § 19-14-113","heading":"Veteran designation on driver's license.","body":"(a) Except as provided by subsection (b) of this section, if a person has a veteran designation on their Wyoming driver's license or identification card pursuant to W.S. 31-7-141, any local government entity as defined by W.S. 9-2-3219(a)(vi) shall allow the person to present their Wyoming driver's license or identification card instead of a military form DD 214 as proof of their status as a veteran.\n(b) At the request of the military department or if information other than the person's status as a veteran is required, the military department or other local government entity may ask for further documentation including a military form DD 214.","path":["TITLE 19 - DEFENSE FORCES AND AFFAIRS","CHAPTER 14 - VETERANS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title19.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"f1c40667abbb52fc4741cae2ec2f3325036c9b21ebe10033545e0b961a661ddc","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-19-14-112","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-19-15-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
