Stat. § 20-4-192","heading":"Contest by obligor.","body":"(a) An obligor may contest the validity or enforcement of an income withholding order issued in another state and received directly by an employer in this state by registering the order in a tribunal of this state and filing a contest to that order as provided in W.S. 20-4-173 through 20-4-184, 20-4-193, 20-4-194 and 20-4-197, or otherwise contesting the order in the same manner as if the order had been issued by a tribunal of this state.\n(b) The obligor shall give notice of the contest to:\n(i) A support enforcement agency providing services to the obligee;\n(ii) Each employer that has directly received an income withholding order relating to the obligor; and\n(iii) The person designated to receive payments in the income withholding order or if no person is designated, to the obligee.","path":["TITLE 20 - DOMESTIC RELATIONS","CHAPTER 4 - UNIFORM INTERSTATE FAMILY SUPPORT ACT","ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title20.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"7c9ef18cfc0c4cc0a7bd3cab33b488cc2502a917c5ffbbf8a8c25036e7cd8cf8","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-20-4-191","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-20-4-193"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
