Stat. § 22-4-118","heading":"State convention powers and duties.","body":"(a) The state convention has the following powers and duties:\n(i) To nominate electors of president and vice-president of the United States;\n(ii) To elect national committeemen and committeewomen;\n(iii) To adopt a platform;\n(iv) To select delegates and alternates to national nominating conventions;\n(v) To formulate or change the rules governing the internal organizations of the party which rules must include:\n(A) The time, place, manner of election and terms of office of party officers not provided by statute;\n(B) The method of apportioning delegates and alternates to the state convention to each county;\n(C) The method of selecting delegates and alternates to the national convention;\n(D) The name, powers and duties of any standing committee of the state central committee and the state convention;\n(E) Rules of conduct for county and state conventions;\n(F) Powers and duties delegated to county and state committees.\n(vi) To conduct such other business as it deems necessary or proper.","path":["TITLE 22 - ELECTIONS","CHAPTER 4 - POLITICAL PARTIES","ARTICLE 1 - MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title22.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"b10eac5590b521c88ab89ddb694d8733a53cf26d132dcc3cea8ef9c60731a474","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-22-4-117","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-22-4-119"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
