Stat. § 26-18-102","heading":"Scope and applicability of chapter.","body":"(a) Nothing in this chapter applies to or affects:\n(i) Any policy of liability or worker's compensation insurance with or without supplementary expense coverage therein;\n(ii) Any group or blanket policy;\n(iii) Life insurance, endowment or annuity contracts, or contracts supplemental thereto which contain only those provisions relating to disability insurance as:\n(A) Provide additional benefits in case of death or dismemberment or loss of sight by accident or accidental means; or\n(B) Operate to safeguard the contracts against lapse, or to give a special surrender value or special benefit or an annuity in case the insured or annuitant is totally and permanently disabled as defined by the contract or supplemental contract.\n(iv) Reinsurance;\n(v) Any contract made or issued prior to January 1, 1968, together with any extensions, renewals, reinstatements or modifications thereof or amendments thereto whenever made.","path":["TITLE 26 - INSURANCE CODE","CHAPTER 18 - DISABILITY INSURANCE POLICIES","ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title26.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"a709ca5860d0e8b4718a97be17b89e77a93039424e784cd6688240738de1ab77","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-26-18-101","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-26-18-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
