Stat. § 27-11-103","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) As used in this act:\n(i) \"Commission\" means the occupational health and safety commission;\n(ii) \"Department\" means the department of workforce services of the state of Wyoming;\n(iii) \"Employee\" means a person permitted to work by an employer in employment;\n(iv) \"Employer\" means any individual or organization including the state and all its political subdivisions, which has in its employ one (1) or more individuals performing services for it in employment;\n(v) \"Employment\" means all services for pay under a contract of hire;\n(vi) \"Party\" means each person or agency named or admitted as a party or properly seeking and entitled as of right to be admitted as a party;\n(vii) \"Person\" means an individual, governmental agency, partnership, association, corporation, business, trust, receiver, trustee, legal representative or successor to any of the foregoing;\n(viii) \"Place of employment\" means plant, premises, or any other place where directed by the employer or about which an employee is permitted to work;\n(ix) \"This act\" means W.S. 27-11-101 through 27-11-114.","path":["TITLE 27 - LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT","CHAPTER 11 - OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title27.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"85ebe28ea446590358bb312620dacc3f9f3499ce43d569a82a4d122b3dcea3d9","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-27-11-102","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-27-11-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
