Stat. § 28-9-107","heading":"Legislative orders; action required; implementation and enforcement of rules.","body":"(a) If the council determines that a rule submitted for review under W.S. 28-9-103(b) does not satisfy one (1) or more of the criteria of W.S. 28-9-104(c), the council may introduce legislation in the next succeeding legislative session following the review to obtain a legislative order to prohibit the implementation or enforcement of the rule.\n(b) Repealed by Laws 1988, ch. 66, § 2.\n(c) If the legislature, each house voting separately, approves a legislative order to prohibit the implementation or enforcement of any rule, the rule is null and void and shall not be implemented or enforced. If the legislature fails to approve a legislative order prohibiting the implementation or enforcement of a rule, the rule may be implemented or enforced, as the case may be, after compliance with all other applicable provisions of law.\n(d) If the council, management audit committee, a joint interim committee or any legislator determines that it is appropriate after reviewing the results of the analysis completed under W.S. 28-9-109, the council, a joint interim committee or any legislator may introduce legislation in the next succeeding legislative session following the completion of the analysis to obtain a legislative order to prohibit the implementation or enforcement of the major rule.","path":["TITLE 28 - LEGISLATURE","CHAPTER 9 - ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATION REVIEW"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title28.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"a240f2ea752d4878ce0046821f564499fe9f9036a2332b8d69369ff24838f146","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-28-9-106","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-28-9-108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
