Stat. § 29-7-104","heading":"Termination of lien; effect thereof on claimant's right of possession.","body":"(a) A lien under W.S. 29-7-101 through 29-7-106 terminates:\n(i) Upon a lienor's voluntary surrender of possession of the property, unless a lien statement has previously been filed as provided in W.S. 29-7-103;\n(ii) One hundred eighty (180) days after the date upon which the work, services, materials and feed giving rise to the lien were performed or furnished unless a lien statement has previously been filed as provided by W.S. 29-7-103; and\n(iii) One hundred eighty (180) days after a lien statement is filed as provided in W.S. 29-7-103, unless action to enforce and foreclose the lien has commenced.\n(b) Upon termination of a lien, the lien claimant has no further right to possession of the property and no further interest therein.","path":["TITLE 29 - LIENS","CHAPTER 7 - PERSONAL PROPERTY","ARTICLE 1 - IN GENERAL"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title29.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"c983904d431f9da82a2d72469cbbab0344f8afec33fa425cadf04653c86d33de","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-29-7-103","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-29-7-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
