Stat. § 3-3-101","heading":"Petition for involuntary appointment of conservator.","body":"(a) Any person may file with the clerk a petition for the involuntary appointment of a conservator. The petition appointment shall state:\n(i) The name, age and address of the proposed ward;\n(ii) The status of the proposed ward as a minor, incompetent person or a mentally incompetent person and the reasons for the petition;\n(iii) The name and address of the proposed conservator, and his qualification to serve as conservator;\n(iv) The name and address of the person or institution having the care, custody or control of the proposed ward;\n(v) The fact that the residence of the proposed ward is in the county, or is a nonresident, or that his residence is unknown;\n(vi) The fact that the best interest of the proposed ward requires the appointment of a conservator in Wyoming;\n(vii) The estimated current value of the real estate, the estimated value of the personal property and the estimated gross annual income of the estate;\n(viii) Any money payable or to become payable to the proposed ward from any source; and\n(ix) The interests of the petitioner.","path":["TITLE 3 - GUARDIAN AND WARD","CHAPTER 3 - CONSERVATORSHIPS","ARTICLE 1 - OPENING CONSERVATORSHIPS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title03.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:31Z","sha256":"641a87965e23078bfb0e6959bab3cfb2342e758609a6f56890f769876bd5e106","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-3-2-303","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-3-3-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
