Stat. § 30-2-408","heading":"Maps of mines to be made; contents; semiannual revision; maintenance and filing.","body":"(a) The owner or operator of each mine shall make an accurate map or plan of the mine and mine workings on a scale not exceeding two hundred (200) feet to the inch or as otherwise approved by the inspector. The map or plan shall:\n(i) Exhibit all openings or excavations, shafts, tunnels, slopes, planes, gangways, entries, cross headings, rooms and installations related to safety;\n(ii) Show the direction of air currents in the mine;\n(iii) Accurately delineate the boundary line between the mine and adjoining mines;\n(iv) Be prepared with reference to and show the boundaries of the legal subdivision in which the mine is located;\n(v) Be accurately brought up to date every six (6) months.\n(b) The owner or operator shall:\n(i) Maintain a copy of each map or plan for use at the mine by the inspector, his deputy or any miner employed at the mine;\n(ii) File a copy of each map or plan with the inspector;\n(iii) Maintain a copy of the current map or plan on bulletin boards near mine entrances and at all principal working stations.","path":["TITLE 30 - MINES AND MINERALS","CHAPTER 2 - MINING OPERATIONS","ARTICLE 4 - DUTIES OF OPERATORS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title30.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"0ff03027cf60798cc449dc27e67003b31f820c13ae2c1b812984de5b157c9bff","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-30-2-407","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-30-2-409"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
