Stat. § 31-14-103","heading":"Required security.","body":"(a) A person shall not render or agree to render motor club service without first depositing and thereafter continuously maintaining security in one (1) of the following forms with the commissioner:\n(i) One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) in cash;\n(ii) Securities approved by the commissioner having a market value of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) and approved by the commissioner and legal for investment by admitted insurers issuing nonassessable policies on a reserve basis;\n(iii) A surety bond in the principal sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) with an admitted surety insurer as surety.\n(b) In lieu of the deposit required by subsection (a) of this section, a foreign or alien motor club may deposit evidence satisfactory to the commissioner that it has on deposit with an officer of a state of the United States of America, authorized by the law of such state to accept the deposit:\n(i) Securities which meet the requirements of subsection (a) of this section of at least a like amount for the benefit and security of all members and creditors of the motor club; or\n(ii) A surety bond in the principal sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) which meets the requirements of W.S. 31-14-104 issued by a bonding company authorized to do business in the state of Wyoming and in the state where the bond is posted.","path":["TITLE 31 - MOTOR VEHICLES","CHAPTER 14 - MOTOR CLUB SERVICES"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title31.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"d9201ed96275b084d5a960480d2ee2abeea3585e90d516cd32de7f16606bc4f3","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-14-102","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-14-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
