Stat. § 31-2-501","heading":"Definitions; application required.","body":"(a) As used in this act:\n(i) The definitions in W.S. 31-1-101 apply;\n(ii) \"Mobile home\" means a transportable home defined in W.S. 31-1-101(a)(xxiv)(C);\n(iii) \"Mobile home dealer\" means as defined in W.S. 35-18-102(a)(v) but includes a finance agency as defined in W.S. 34.1-2-104;\n(iv) \"This act\" means W.S. 31-2-501 through 31-2-508.\n(b) Except as provided by W.S. 31-2-502, any owner of a mobile home located in this state for which no Wyoming certificate of title has been issued to the owner, or the transferee upon transfer of ownership of a mobile home, shall apply for a certificate of title at the office of a county clerk within forty-five (45) days of the date the mobile home became subject to this act, or upon a transfer, within forty-five (45) days of the date of transfer.","path":["TITLE 31 - MOTOR VEHICLES","CHAPTER 2 - TITLE AND REGISTRATION","ARTICLE 5 - MOBILE HOMES"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title31.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"77815a41b624196b60e8d87d17ae5524e11c23d5bfb0e51d2fe967cb09aa86da","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-2-410","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-2-502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
