Stat. § 31-20-106","heading":"Driver requirements.","body":"(a) Before a transportation network company may allow an individual to act as a driver, the transportation network company shall:\n(i) Require the individual to submit to the transportation network company an application that includes all of the following:\n(A) The individual's name, mailing address and age;\n(B) A photocopy of the individual's driver's license;\n(C) A photocopy of the registration for the transportation network company vehicle that the individual will use to provide prearranged rides;\n(D) Proof of financial responsibility for the transportation network company vehicle that the individual will use to provide prearranged rides;\n(E) Any other information required by the transportation network company.\n(ii) Conduct, or cause a third party to conduct, the following:\n(A) A local and national criminal background check on the individual that shall include review of a multistate or multijurisdiction criminal records locator or other similar commercial nationwide database with primary source search validation;\n(B) A search of the United States department of justice's national public sex offender website for the individual; and\n(C) A search of the individual's driving history pursuant to W.S. 31-7-309(a).","path":["TITLE 31 - MOTOR VEHICLES","CHAPTER 20 - TRANSPORTATION NETWORK COMPANIES"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title31.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"3b7f6a14d1268628b99271e6c9f954a39736a57df3e0b7a10ea043832e99394e","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-20-105","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-20-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
