Stat. § 31-7-118","heading":"Replacement license.","body":"(a) If a license issued under this act is lost, destroyed or if the licensee desires to withdraw or insert notice of anatomical organ donation or a medical alert designation, the person may obtain the appropriate replacement license upon payment of the proper fee and surrender of the original license, if available.\n(b) The department may issue a replacement license under this section without the examinations required under W.S. 31-7-114, except for a commercial driver's license with a hazardous materials endorsement, upon request by the licensee either by mail or in person if the following conditions exist:\n(i) The expiration date of the licensee's original license is more than one (1) year from the date of the licensee's request for a replacement license;\n(ii) The licensee has not legally changed the licensee's name since issuance of the licensee's original license; and\n(iii) The department has a digitized photograph and signature of the licensee on record.\n(c) A replacement license issued under this section shall expire on the expiration date of the licensee's original license.","path":["TITLE 31 - MOTOR VEHICLES","CHAPTER 7 - DRIVER'S LICENSES","ARTICLE 1 - IN GENERAL"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title31.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"f570075593b503b9f49bd48ba3a88986fe5d6ed694545ec0d7f60b38a000f071","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-7-117","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-7-119"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
