Stat. § 31-7-129","heading":"Discretionary suspension of license.","body":"(a) The division may suspend the license of any driver for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months if the licensee:\n(i) Is a repeated violator, such fact being established by a record of moving violations, accidents or by other evidence;\n(ii) Has permitted an unlawful or fraudulent use of his license as defined in W.S. 31-7-133;\n(iii) Has refused or neglected to submit to an examination required by the division under W.S. 31-7-122;\n(iv) Has violated his promise to appear in court, given to an arresting officer in this state or any other state upon the issuance of a traffic citation, or has failed to appear in court in this state or another state at the time specified by the court; or\n(v) Violates any of the endorsements on his commercial driver's license.\n(b) Upon receiving a record of the licensee's conviction, the division may suspend a license issued under W.S. 31-7-117(c) for:\n(i) Ninety (90) days, for a first conviction;\n(ii) One (1) year, for a subsequent conviction.","path":["TITLE 31 - MOTOR VEHICLES","CHAPTER 7 - DRIVER'S LICENSES","ARTICLE 1 - IN GENERAL"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title31.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"748be29a8dbc63d1c4b5962f56bc176291c0f6bffa460ab2966b005d636f85fe","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-7-128","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-31-7-130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
