Stat. § 32-3-107","heading":"Notarial acts under authority of federally recognized Indian tribe.","body":"(a) A notarial act, including the acknowledgment of any deed, mortgage or conveyance, performed under the authority and in the jurisdiction of a federally recognized Indian tribe has the same effect as if performed by a notarial officer of this state, if the act performed in the jurisdiction of the tribe is performed by:\n(i) A notary public of the tribe;\n(ii) A judge, clerk or deputy clerk of a court of the tribe; or\n(iii) Any other individual authorized by the law of the tribe to perform the notarial act.\n(b) The signature and title of an individual performing a notarial act under the authority of and in the jurisdiction of a federally recognized Indian tribe are prima facie evidence that the signature is genuine and that the individual holds the designated title.\n(c) The signature and title of a notarial officer described in paragraph (a)(i) or (ii) of this section conclusively establish the authority of the officer to perform the notarial act.","path":["TITLE 32 - NOTARIES PUBLIC","CHAPTER 3 - NOTARIES PUBLIC","ARTICLE 1 - WYOMING REVISED UNIFORM NOTARIAL ACT"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title32.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"87ec29c59c133e4a7ed89f5d9949c0e11ac9c0c25d7b7251b2c8098ae67a1fa1","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-32-3-106","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-32-3-108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
