Stat. § 33-22-111","heading":"Temporary licenses.","body":"(a) The board may issue a temporary license to an applicant for:\n(i) Licensure who has provided all of the information required for licensure and is awaiting the results of the applicant's criminal history record background check under W.S. 7-19-201. A temporary license issued under this paragraph shall expire when the board receives the results of the applicant's criminal history record background check and issues the applicant a license or denies the application for licensure;\n(ii) Licensure pending completion of the experience and examination requirements established by rule of the board. A temporary license issued under this paragraph shall be valid for not more than six (6) months. No applicant shall receive more than two (2) separate temporary licenses under this paragraph; or\n(iii) A temporary license who, by training or experience in the field of institutional administration, the board determines is qualified to serve as the administrator of a nursing home that does not have a licensed nursing home administrator. A temporary license issued under this paragraph shall be valid for not more than six (6) months.\n(b) The holder of a temporary license under the provisions of this act shall be authorized to serve as a nursing home administrator for the period that the temporary license is valid.\n(c) The holder of a temporary license shall be subject to the standards of conduct imposed on a license holder under this act.","path":["TITLE 33 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","CHAPTER 22 - NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATORS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title33.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"a28b0d61071bfcdde7eb87d73f5ab20aa072438254ec9857edd510e39db55017","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-33-22-110","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-33-23-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
