Stat. § 33-26-405","heading":"Order of the board.","body":"(a) Following a hearing to refuse to renew or reinstate, revoke, restrict or suspend a license on the grounds set forth in W.S. 33-26-402(a), the board shall enter its order and findings pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act. The board may take one (1) or more of the following actions:\n(i) Dismiss the proceedings;\n(ii) Issue a public or private reprimand;\n(iii) Order probation and provide terms;\n(iv) Impose a civil fine not exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00);\n(v) Suspend the license;\n(vi) Revoke the license;\n(vii) Place restrictions on the license;\n(viii) Assess part or all of the cost of the proceeding against a disciplined licensee;\n(ix) Take other action as the board in its discretion finds proper;\n(x) Place the licensee on probation.\n(b) Restriction of a license may include, but is not limited to, the following:\n(i) Restricting the practice to certain areas of medicine or forbidding the practice of certain areas of medicine;\n(ii) Requiring the licensee to practice medicine under the supervision of another physician in a clinic or other controlled setting, and setting the conditions of the licensee's practice of medicine;\n(iii) Forbidding the use of certain medical procedures without consultation with and approval by another physician.","path":["TITLE 33 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","CHAPTER 26 - PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS","ARTICLE 4 - INVESTIGATIONS AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title33.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"5747fb859174fa41d58757887cbb26c94ffae2b094331f90e6531259570ab8fc","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-33-26-404","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-33-26-406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
