Stat. § 33-26-511","heading":"Penalties.","body":"Any person practicing as a physician assistant or representing that he is a physician assistant without a license or any person employing an unlicensed person to practice as a physician assistant is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one (1) year, or both.
