Stat. § 33-35-118","heading":"Powers and duties of board.","body":"(a) The powers and duties of the board are as follows:\n(i) Authorize all disbursements necessary to carry out the provisions of this act;\n(ii) Supervise issuance of licenses and administer qualifying examinations to test the knowledge and proficiency of applicants licensed by examination;\n(iii) Determine by test if individuals are qualified to engage in the fitting, dispensing or sale of hearing aids;\n(iv) Issue and renew licenses;\n(v) Suspend or revoke licenses in the manner provided by law;\n(vi) Designate the time and place for examining applicants;\n(vii) Appoint representatives to conduct or supervise the examination;\n(viii) Make and publish rules and regulations not inconsistent with the laws of this state which are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act;\n(ix) Appoint or employ subordinate employees.","path":["TITLE 33 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","CHAPTER 35 - HEARING AID SPECIALIST LICENSURE"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title33.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"3411d04c4548028a59fdff8ea4e891ee160166681075f4876f8ea82c31be02e6","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-33-35-117","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-33-35-119"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
