Stat. § 34-1-402","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) As used in this act unless the context otherwise requires:\n(i) \"Document\" means information that is:\n(A) Inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and retrievable in perceivable form; and\n(B) Eligible to be recorded in the real property records maintained by the county clerk.\n(ii) \"Electronic\" means as defined in W.S. 40-21-102(a)(v);\n(iii) \"Electronic document\" means a document received by the county clerk in an electronic form;\n(iv) \"Electronic signature\" means an electronic sound, symbol or process attached to or logically associated with a document and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the document;\n(v) \"Person\" means as defined in W.S. 40-21-102(a)(xii);\n(vi) \"State\" means as defined in W.S. 40-21-102(a)(xv);\n(vii) \"This act\" means W.S. 34-1-401 through 34-1-407.","path":["TITLE 34 - PROPERTY, CONVEYANCES AND SECURITY TRANSACTIONS","CHAPTER 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS","ARTICLE 3 - HISTORIC PRESERVATION RIGHTS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title34.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"4dc27500ad1f6abcb005f667a48f5a65f35dc840698c74ab5386230502348837","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34-1-401","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34-1-403"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
