Stat. § 34-23-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) For purposes of this chapter:\n(i) \"Lender\" means the actual owner of loaned property or his duly authorized agent, trustee, conservator, custodian, heir, fiduciary or any other person capable of having an interest in property;\n(ii) \"Lender's address\" means the most recent address as shown on the museum's records pertaining to the property on loan from the lender;\n(iii) \"Loan\" means all deposits of property with a museum which are not accompanied by a transfer of title to the property or other evidence of donative intent;\n(iv) \"Museum\" means an institution located in Wyoming and operated by a nonprofit corporation or a public agency primarily for educational, scientific or aesthetic purposes and which owns, borrows, cares for, exhibits, studies or archives property;\n(v) \"Property\" means all tangible objects, organic and inorganic, under a museum's care which have intrinsic scientific, historic, artistic or cultural value.","path":["TITLE 34 - PROPERTY, CONVEYANCES AND SECURITY TRANSACTIONS","CHAPTER 23 - MUSEUMS - LOANED PROPERTY"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title34.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"0293754a6ce7e012e3d34ed375754afb6672a3897b83e66b0601d9762def8612","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34-22-106","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34-23-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
