Stat. § 34-30-103","heading":"Scope.","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, this act applies to a mortgage modification.\n(b) This act does not affect:\n(i) Law governing the required content of a mortgage;\n(ii) A statute of limitations or other law governing the expiration or termination of a right to enforce an obligation or a mortgage;\n(iii) A recording statute;\n(iv) A statute governing the priority of a tax lien or other governmental lien;\n(v) A statute of frauds or the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act;\n(vi) Except as provided in W.S. 34-30-104(b)(viii), law governing the priority of a future advance.\n(c) This act does not apply to any of the following modifications:\n(i) A release of, or addition to, property encumbered by a mortgage;\n(ii) A release of, addition of, or other change in an obligor; or\n(iii) An assignment or other transfer of a mortgage or an obligation.","path":["TITLE 34 - PROPERTY, CONVEYANCES AND SECURITY TRANSACTIONS","CHAPTER 30 - UNIFORM MORTGAGE MODIFICATION ACT"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title34.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"c09bb5985bd5b1c6f30dd90f8931059bb65119c95960a9efcd1fd0626f41e51b","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34-30-102","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34-30-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
