Stat. § 34.1-9-327","heading":"Priority of security interests in deposit account.","body":"(a) The following rules govern priority among conflicting security interests in the same deposit account:\n(i) A security interest held by a secured party having control of the deposit account under section 34.1-9-104 has priority over a conflicting security interest held by a secured party that does not have control;\n(ii) Except as otherwise provided in paragraphs (iii) and (iv), security interests perfected by control under section 34.1-9-314 rank according to priority in time of obtaining control;\n(iii) Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (iv), a security interest held by the bank with which the deposit account is maintained has priority over a conflicting security interest held by another secured party;\n(iv) A security interest perfected by control under section 34.1-9-104(a)(iii) has priority over a security interest held by the bank with which the deposit account is maintained.","path":["TITLE 34.1 - UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE","ARTICLE 9 - SECURED TRANSACTIONS","PART 3 PERFECTION AND PRIORITY"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title34.1.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"eaf1c2f54bc5769a5c327c9bee72204429d470e1f8b5b76b3f5fbb6a764a184a","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34.1-9-326","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-34.1-9-328"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
