Stat. § 35-1-618","heading":"Community boards; powers.","body":"(a) For each human services program authorized by the county commissioners the community boards may contract with a behavioral health center or a local public or private nonprofit provider or:\n(i) Appoint a director whose qualifications meet the standards fixed by the division;\n(ii) Prescribe the director's duties and fix his compensation;\n(iii) Make rules or regulations relating to the operation of services and facilities under the board's supervision, including a reasonable schedule of fees not inconsistent with the division's uniform fee schedule;\n(iv) Contract for facilities or support services;\n(v) Accept donations of money or property; and\n(vi) Expend funds for the purposes and programs of the community board, including necessary capital construction, as authorized by the county commissioners.","path":["TITLE 35 - PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY","CHAPTER 1 - ADMINISTRATION","ARTICLE 6 - COMMUNITY HUMAN SERVICES"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title35.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"c9825e676bc09b952d79d4ffbe805b5cc0cf3683f938a1122c248f1d59fd0e23","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-35-1-617","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-35-1-619"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
