Stat. § 37-16-102","heading":"Electric utility requirements.","body":"(a) An electric utility:\n(i) Shall offer to make available to each of its eligible customer-generators that has installed a net metering system an energy meter that is capable of registering the flow of electricity in two (2) directions;\n(ii) May, at its own expense and with the written consent of the customer-generator, install one (1) or more additional meters to monitor the flow of electricity in each direction;\n(iii) Shall not charge a customer-generator any fee or charge that would increase the customer-generator's minimum monthly charge to an amount greater than that of other customers of the electric utility in the same rate class as the customer-generator.","path":["TITLE 37 - PUBLIC UTILITIES","CHAPTER 16 - ELECTRIC UTILITIES","ARTICLE 1 - NET METERING"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title37.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"635ed58c7d9bfeefedecece1ceba00d6d651c531a86b31e1864291a52ad4870c","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-37-16-101","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-37-16-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
