Stat. § 37-4-103","heading":"Filing security interests.","body":"(a) If filing is required under the Uniform Commercial Code, the proper place to file in order to perfect a security interest in personal property or fixtures of a transmitting utility is in the office of the secretary of state.\n(b) When the financing statement covers goods of a transmitting utility which are or are to become fixtures, no description of the real estate concerned is required.\n(c) A security interest in rolling stock of a transmitting utility may be perfected either as provided in section 20(c) of the Interstate Commerce Act or by filing a financing statement pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code as provided in subsection (a).","path":["TITLE 37 - PUBLIC UTILITIES","CHAPTER 4 - TRANSMITTING UTILITY ACT"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title37.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"1485abbbe02e2fdbbef4c0fdb05cc67e9f733d1cab04a88bb6358d4155a5be1b","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-37-4-102","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-37-4-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
