Stat. § 40-10-132","heading":"Prohibited acts.","body":"(a) No person shall:\n(i) Use or possess any incorrect weight or measure for use in commerce;\n(ii) Sell or offer for sale any incorrect weight or measure for use in commerce;\n(iii) Remove any tag, seal or mark from any weight or measure or weighing or measuring device, without specific written authorization from the proper authority;\n(iv) Hinder or obstruct any weights and measures official in the performance of his duties;\n(v) Use or possess any weight, measure, weighing or measuring device that for use in commerce has not been tested and certified as correct by the department or a registered service person;\n(vi) Place any weight, measure, weighing or measuring device into commercial service without having a current certificate of registration as a registered service person; or\n(vii) Violate any provision of this act or rules or regulations promulgated under this act.","path":["TITLE 40 - TRADE AND COMMERCE","CHAPTER 10 - WEIGHTS AND MEASURES"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title40.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"03f9b5a7aeebdb16366946ae2d17e74c2884337acd898ee8a934d068dc29c6fa","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-40-10-131","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-40-10-133"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
