Stat. § 40-31-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) As used in this act:\n(i) \"Commission\" means the Wyoming stable token commission created by W.S. 40-31-103;\n(ii) \"Board\" means the board of the Wyoming stable token commission;\n(iii) \"Director\" means the director of the Wyoming stable token commission;\n(iv) \"Financial institution\" means any entity approved by the commission to act as a manager or otherwise to manage, operate and maintain Wyoming stable tokens;\n(v) \"Notional value\" means face value;\n(vi) \"Token holder\" means a person who lawfully owns any portion of a Wyoming stable token;\n(vii) \"Treasurer\" means the state treasurer;\n(viii) \"Wyoming stable token\" means the virtual currency issued by the commission pursuant to this act;\n(ix) \"Virtual currency\" means as defined in W.S. 34-29-101(a)(iv);\n(x) \"This act\" means W.S. 40-31-101 through 40-31-110.","path":["TITLE 40 - TRADE AND COMMERCE","CHAPTER 31 - WYOMING STABLE TOKEN ACT"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title40.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"b4b19b465bb02a8f5e84eb1dcf28e0fd0a1e9b96424f3ea52f40b99c9d7ac011","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-40-31-101","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-40-31-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
