Stat. § 41-10-126","heading":"Resolution and election prerequisite to issuance of general obligation bonds.","body":"No bonds or other evidences of indebtedness payable in whole or in part from the proceeds of general (ad valorem) property taxes or to which the full faith and credit of a district are pledged, shall be issued, except in pursuance of a resolution, nor until the question of their issuance shall be submitted to a vote of the electors and approved by a majority of the qualified taxpaying electors voting on the question and by a majority of other qualified electors voting thereon, or, if no ballots are cast in one (1) of the ballot boxes and a majority of the ballots in the other ballot box favor the issuance of the bonds or other evidences of indebtedness, approved either by a majority of the qualified taxpaying electors voting thereon or by a majority of the other qualified electors voting thereon at an election held as provided for bond elections by the Political Subdivision Bond Election Law, W.S. 22-21-101 through 22-21-112.","path":["TITLE 41 - WATER","CHAPTER 10 - WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT LAW"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title41.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"a9798b56631de9c0b08b244795172a8ef3b2a626f0011d2cd38f1c9cc348c129","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-41-10-125","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-41-10-127"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
