Stat. § 6-2-108","heading":"Drug induced homicide; penalty.","body":"(a) A person is guilty of drug induced homicide if:\n(i) He is an adult or is at least four (4) years older than the victim; and\n(ii) He violates W.S. 35-7-1031(a)(i) or (ii) or (b)(i) or (ii) by unlawfully delivering a controlled substance to a minor and that minor dies as a result of the injection, inhalation, ingestion or administration by any other means of any amount of that controlled substance.\n(b) Except as provided in W.S. 6-2-109, drug induced homicide is a felony punishable by imprisonment in the penitentiary for not more than twenty (20) years.","path":["TITLE 6 - CRIMES AND OFFENSES","CHAPTER 2 - OFFENSES AGAINST THE PERSON","ARTICLE 1 - HOMICIDE"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title06.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"d25d88bc8ce087dcd2f74e9ec5d57b805851fe911c136de6ca5bd04d02798187","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-6-2-107","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-6-2-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
