Stat. § 7-9-113","heading":"Restitution for long-term care.","body":"(a) In addition to any other punishment prescribed by law and any restitution ordered pursuant to W.S. 7-9-102 which did not include long-term physical health care costs, the court may, upon conviction of any misdemeanor or felony, order a defendant to pay restitution to a victim in accordance with the provisions of W.S. 7-9-114 if the victim has suffered physical injury as a result of the crime which is reasonably probable to require or has required long-term physical health care for more than three (3) months.\n(b) As used in W.S. 7-9-113 through 7-9-115 \"long-term physical health care\" includes mental health care.","path":["TITLE 7 - CRIMINAL PROCEDURE","CHAPTER 9 - VICTIM RESTITUTION"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title07.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"eac2d42f3311a342a9361a47a53e2ecda8db806c8b59bc61120bcd8c03599a08","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-7-9-112","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-7-9-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
