Stat. § 9-22-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(a) As used in this chapter:\n(i) \"Article V application\" means a joint resolution passed by the Wyoming legislature on the same subject or containing the same proposed amendment text as two-thirds (2/3) of the other states requiring the United States congress to call an article V convention;\n(ii) \"Article V convention\" means a convention for proposing amendments as expressly provided in article V of the United States constitution;\n(iii) \"Delegate\" or \"alternate\" means a legislator selected under W.S. 9-22-102(g) to represent the state of Wyoming at an article V convention;\n(iv) \"Legislative instructions\" means instructions given by the state legislature to delegates and alternates before and during an article V convention;\n(v) \"Unauthorized amendment\" means a proposed amendment that is outside the permitted subject matter contained in the article V application or contrary to legislative instructions.","path":["TITLE 9 - ADMINISTRATION OF THE GOVERNMEN","CHAPTER 22 - LIMITATIONS ON DELEGATES TO A CONVENTION FOR PROPOSING AMENDMENTS"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title09.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"f412225ce739313f46faaf79e54e9c879622865cad51e1121892a78c61d7458f","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-9-21-203","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-9-22-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
