Stat. § 9-3-706","heading":"Age of retirement.","body":"(a) An employee is eligible for retirement under this act when he has served as a judge of the supreme court, a district court, a chancery court judge, a circuit court or service in any combination of those positions after July 1, 1998, if:\n(i) He is at least sixty (60) years of age and has at least twenty (20) years of credited service;\n(ii) He is at least sixty-five (65) years of age and has at least four (4) years of credited service;\n(iii) He has less than four (4) years of credited service but has served continuously from the date of appointment to the age of seventy (70) years;\n(iv) He has not less than ten (10) years and is retired for disability;\n(v) He has not less than four (4) years of service to his credit and is at least fifty-five (55) years of age, but any benefit received by an employee under this paragraph shall be reduced by five percent (5%) for each year of retirement prior to age sixty-five (65).","path":["TITLE 9 - ADMINISTRATION OF THE GOVERNMEN","CHAPTER 3 - COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS","ARTICLE 7 - JUDICIAL RETIREMENT"],"source_url":"https://wyoleg.gov/statutes/compress/title09.pdf","current_through":"2026 Budget Session; as of 2026-07-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T00:16:32Z","sha256":"a4d150b4c370dc79140eb66b2989778d936654c57e07c42f4eadf53e397662b1","source_id":"us-wy","stale":false,"prev":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-9-3-705","next":"us-wy/wyo.-stat.-9-3-707"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
