{"data":{"id":"us/10-cfr-2.1309","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"10 CFR 2.1309","heading":"Notice of oral hearing.","body":"(a) A notice of oral hearing will—\n(1) State the time, place, and issues to be considered;\n(2) Provide names and addresses of participants,\n(3) Specify the time limit for participants and others to indicate whether they wish to present views;\n(4) Specify the schedule for the filing of written testimony, statements of position, proposed questions for the Presiding Officer to consider, and rebuttal testimony consistent with the schedule provisions of § 2.1321.\n(5) Specify that the oral hearing shall commence within 15 days of the date for submittal of rebuttal testimony unless otherwise ordered;\n(6) State any other instructions the Commission deems appropriate;\n(7) If so determined by the NRC staff or otherwise directed by the Commission, direct that the staff participate as a party with respect to some or all issues.\n(b) If the Commission is not the Presiding Officer, the notice of oral hearing will also state:\n(1) When the jurisdiction of the Presiding Officer commences and terminates;\n(2) The powers of the Presiding Officer;\n(3) Instructions to the Presiding Officer to certify promptly the completed hearing record to the Commission without a recommended or preliminary decision.","path":["Title 10—Energy","CHAPTER I—NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION","PART 2—AGENCY RULES OF PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE","Subpart M—Procedures for Hearings on License Transfer Applications"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-10.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:24:09Z","sha256":"9e4d5300d6cb2629d83a047f3b2816c863e7d91989594d846940aa09af638dd6","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/10-cfr-2.1308","next":"us/10-cfr-2.1310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
