{"data":{"id":"us/10-cfr-20.2401","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"10 CFR 20.2401","heading":"Violations.","body":"(a) The Commission may obtain an injunction or other court order to prevent a violation of the provisions of—\n(1) The Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended;\n(2) Title II of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended; or\n(3) A regulation or order issued pursuant to those Acts.\n(b) The Commission may obtain a court order for the payment of a civil penalty imposed under section 234 of the Atomic Energy Act:\n(1) For violations of—\n(i) Sections 53, 57, 62, 63, 81, 82, 101, 103, 104, 107 or 109 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended;\n(ii) Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization Act;\n(iii) Any rule, regulation, or order issued pursuant to the sections specified in paragraph (b)(1)(i) of this section; and\n(iv) Any term, condition, or limitation of any license issued under the sections specified in paragraph (b)(1)(i) of this section.\n(2) For any violation for which a license may be revoked under Section 186 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.","path":["Title 10—Energy","CHAPTER I—NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION","PART 20—STANDARDS FOR PROTECTION AGAINST RADIATION","Subpart O—Enforcement"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-10.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:24:09Z","sha256":"019d6cc2cae6a1904d3756acd5a5c700562091f96292efd6c78e1021dda3454a","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/10-cfr-20.2302","next":"us/10-cfr-20.2402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
