{"data":{"id":"us/14-cfr-406.103","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"14 CFR 406.103","heading":"Definitions that apply in part 406.","body":"For the purpose of this part:\nAdministrative law judge means an administrative law judge appointed pursuant to the provisions of 5 U.S.C. 3105.\nAttorney means a person licensed by a state, the District of Columbia, or a territory of the United States to practice law or appear before the courts of that state or territory.\nComplainant in a civil penalty action means the proponent of the civil penalty in the FAA.\nFAA decisionmaker means the Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation, or the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, acting in the capacity of the decisionmaker on appeal; or a person who has been delegated the authority to act for the FAA decisionmaker.
