{"data":{"id":"us/18-cfr-701.307","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"18 CFR 701.307","heading":"Request for correction or amendment to record.","body":"(a) Any individual who has reviewed a record pertaining to him that was furnished to him under this subpart, may request the agency to correct or amend all or any part of that record.\n(b) Each individual requesting a correction or amendment will send the request to the agency official who furnished the record to him.\n(c) Each request for a correction or amendment of a record will contain the following information:\n(1) The name of the individual requesting the correction or amendment;\n(2) The name of the system of records in which the record sought to be corrected or amended is maintained;\n(3) The location of that record in the system of records;\n(4) A copy of the record sought to be corrected or amended or a description of that record;\n(5) A statement of the material in the record requested to be corrected or amended;\n(6) A statement of the specific wording of the correction or amendment sought; and\n(7) A statement of the basis for the requested correction or amendment, including any material that the individual can furnish to substantiate the reasons for the correction or amendment sought.","path":["Title 18—Conservation of Power and Water Resources","CHAPTER VI—WATER RESOURCES COUNCIL","PART 701—COUNCIL ORGANIZATION","Subpart E—Protection of Privacy"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-18.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:24:34Z","sha256":"ebe4ca5d48357c2b060d84e8d8d8580e59d187ce5a14a6541b9d2d96bba27540","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/18-cfr-701.306","next":"us/18-cfr-701.308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
