{"data":{"id":"us/20-cfr-680.410","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"20 CFR 680.410","heading":"What is an eligible training provider?","body":"An ETP:\n(a) Is the only type of entity that receives funding for training services, as defined in § 680.200, through an individual training account;\n(b) Must be included on the State list of eligible training providers and programs under this subpart;\n(c) Must provide a program of training services; and\n(d) Must be one of the following types of entities:\n(1) Institutions of higher education that provide a program which leads to a recognized postsecondary credential;\n(2) Entities that carry out programs registered under the National Apprenticeship Act (29 U.S.C. 50 et seq.); or\n(3) Other public or private providers of training services, which may include:\n(i) Community-based organizations;\n(ii) Joint labor-management organizations; and\n(iii) Eligible providers of adult education and literacy activities under title II of WIOA if such activities are provided in combination with training services described at § 680.350.","path":["Title 20—Employees' Benefits","CHAPTER V—EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF LABOR","PART 680—ADULT AND DISLOCATED WORKER ACTIVITIES UNDER TITLE I OF THE WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT","Subpart D—Eligible Training Providers"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-20.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:24:45Z","sha256":"afdf9e572f3d38318345772dd108cf0d6f07881af0ecc1f4229a74ea15496804","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/20-cfr-680.400","next":"us/20-cfr-680.420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
