{"data":{"id":"us/20-cfr-725.531","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"20 CFR 725.531","heading":"Receipt for payment.","body":"Any individual receiving benefits under the Act in his or her own right, or as a representative payee, or as the duly appointed agent for the estate of a deceased beneficiary, shall execute receipts for benefits paid by any operator which shall be produced by such operator for inspection whenever the district director requires. A canceled check shall be considered adequate receipt of payment for purposes of this section.
