{"data":{"id":"us/21-cfr-1307.14","jurisdiction":"us","citation":"21 CFR 1307.14","heading":"Delivery of controlled substances to designated locations of emergency medical services agencies.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding the definition of registered location in § 1300.06 of this chapter, a registered emergency medical services agency may receive controlled substances from a hospital for purposes of restocking an emergency medical services vehicle following an emergency response, and without being subject to the requirements of § 1305.03 of this chapter, provided all of the following criteria are met:\n(1) The registered or designated location of the agency operating the vehicle maintains the record of such receipt in accordance with § 1304.27(b) of this chapter;\n(2) The hospital maintains a record of such delivery to the agency in accordance with § 1304.22(c) of this chapter; and\n(3) If the vehicle is primarily situated at a designated location of an emergency medical services agency, such location notifies the registered location of the agency within 72 hours of the vehicle receiving the controlled substances.","path":["Title 21—Food and Drugs","CHAPTER II—DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE","PART 1307—MISCELLANEOUS"],"source_url":"https://www.ecfr.gov/api/versioner/v1/full/2026-08-25/title-21.xml","current_through":"2026-08-25","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T02:24:47Z","sha256":"642cbcd0eba2e2b9255d7d75ad0849f20816c0c7f3b09b2bf378ec8cb59e9a5b","source_id":"us-cfr","stale":true,"prev":"us/21-cfr-1307.13","next":"us/21-cfr-1307.15"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
